Ruby Street, Southwark

Part of the Old Kent Road Opportunity Area, this new development will have an 22 storey tower, plus basement, providing 111 dwellings.

The three lowest levels will be commercial and community facilities including a church with a large auditorium, which created the need for long span transfer structure to support the residential layouts.

Graphic Structures provided engineering design for the structure helping the architect to plan the layouts with an efficient structural solution and aiding massing studies for Planning.

We were also responsible for providing the Sustainable Urban Drainage strategy, Flood Risk Assessment and drainage design for planning.
