David is a chartered structural engineer with a proven history of delivering technically challenging, award-winning projects across a wide range of sectors and building types, from the refurbishment and extension of historic buildings to the development of innovative volumetric and mass timber solutions.
David applies a strong theoretical and practical understanding to challenge established methods and assumptions, leading the development of sustainable design practices across the company.
He is passionate about driving sustainable solutions by understanding client and user needs and motivated by the opportunities for learning and improvement in everything we do, especially now during our collective push towards Net Zero.
Away from his desk he likes to keep active by playing football and getting out of London to walk or cycle, as well as enjoying the odd game of darts or pub quiz.
As well as being an engineer, Federica is proficient at Revit and has a key role at Graphic Structures in coordinating our technical output, continually progressing, and optimising our BIM capabilities.
She has always had a keen interest in sustainable building techniques, starting with a focus on timber design when she worked in Italy, and now as designer on Passivhaus developments in London. She is a Passivhaus Certified Designer.
She has had the joy of seeing several of her projects through from conception to completion whilst at Graphic Structures including new build houses, intricate extensions as well as residential led, multi-use Passivhaus schemes.
Being from the Dolomites, she loves the outdoors including hiking and snowboarding and, of course, cooking (and eating) Italian foods.
Ben spent his university summers on highways construction sites, followed by a Graduate Engineering role at AECOM, where he worked on the Thames Tideway project.
He is a diligent engineer and, since joining Graphic Structures, he has been integral to the delivery of our Passivhaus residential led, mixed use schemes which have been in construction.
When he’s not at work he likes to be out walking, running, cycling, swimming, or climbing!
